Game watch in Omaha?

Need some help-

Gonna be on the road to Omaha this weekend for a wedding, and need to know if there are any Iowa bars or good places to watch the game in Old Market. Missing the great atmosphere of the Sandbar here in Phoenix, but you gotta do what you gotta do. Need to pre-game myself into oblivion before the wedding while watching the Hawkeyes. Any suggestions are appreciated, thanks!! Go Hawks! Beat the, umm...  Red Hawks? Wolves? Something like that...

I would suggest

Farrell’s Sports Bar. Plenty of TV’s, friendly staff, and metric shit-ton of Iowa fans.

OMahawk

You’re alive and apparently roaming free. That’s super.

No self-respecting man from Iowa goes anywhere without beer

I concur.

Since you mentioned the Old Market area, Farrell’s on 8th and Dodge is probably your best bet. Also, Barleys on about 12th on the north side of the arena is owned by a Hawk fan and I am sure the game will be on there.

TV section of

Best Buy at the Crossroads Mall usually will tune on to the Iowa game. It’s a bit more comfy than the TV section at Sears downtown. Enjoy!~

DJ's Dugout on 108th and Dodge

They have huge movie screens with HD projectors and always have at least one huge Iowa room. Good food too. That’s where the local I-Clubbers usually choose. You will have a ton of fellow Hawks and since Nebraska doesn’t play until night this weekend, you won’t have any of those pricks there.

Why not Iowa????

(not Old Market) – I missed that request when I read this.
