Iowa Wins National Duals

The University of Iowa wrestling team appears to be on its way to back to back NCAA Championships for the first time since winning 6 straight from '95-2000.  This was Iowa's second straight win at the National Duals, and their fifth National Duals title overall.  The top-seeded Hawkeyes defeated Wyoming (38-3), Minnesota (27-7), Nebraska (22-11) and #3 Cornell (23-13) to win the event.

Cornell upset Iowa State (22-15) to reach the finals, and Iowa State defeated Nebraska (20-19) in the consolation finals to finish third.

Next up for Iowa is a trip to Stillwater to wrestle the Oklahoma State Cowboys on January 18th.
