I would just like to thank

Wisconsin and Michigan State for their representation of the Big 10 in the NCAA tournament tonight.

Star-divide

I know it's tournament time.  I know sometimes upsets happen and sometimes better teams crush weaker opponents, but I also know that as a conference, we are judged by the best of our teams.  And today, the best of our teams were destroyed.  Sure, Sparty is getting killed by a number 1 seed, but that's doesn't excuse the fact that they look like the team that lost to us at CHA, they they've reverted to the dreaded roadkill Sparty form that has plagued them.  That the closeness (and I use that term loosely) of the final score belies the stomping that they took in the first half.  And the Badgers...that they were tied at half will be completely forgotten and all that will remain is a 3 seed losing to a 10 by 17.  That a normally patient, disciplined team was apparently kidnapped and replaced by a wild, running, 3 point attempting team, who was unable to attack in the paint or guard against the 3.  In short, by a team that looked nothing like they looked the rest of the year.
So.
Thanks guys.  Thanks for not showing up today.  Here's to next year.

Dumbfuck announcers

I was so insanely annoyed with the MSU v. Memphis announcers continually discussing the talent disparity between those two teams.  Yeah, Memphis is more talented, but their shooting 80% from the field through most of the 1st half has little to do with talent.  It had a whole bunch to do with a team on fire, and that had zero to do with MSU not playing well (or not being talented enough).

The anti-B10 sentiment this season was painful to listen to, and Wisky / MSU did nothing to help it leading into next season.  Thanks a ton, you choking little bitches.

Sparty and Wisky

I think we knew the Drew Neitzel Spartans would bitch out, but I am more than a little surprised that Wisconsin couldn't hold it together.  Oh well, the Big Ten looks to be better next year.

And off topic

Davidson should have beaten Kansas, if Curry wasn't so wrapped up in his own hype, stopped throwing up crap, and passed the damn ball.

Perhaps

but they needed him to score.  And shoot.  Its part of who they are, even if he only shoots 33% from the field.  His biggest sin was holding onto it for so long the last 16 seconds.  He's not a shot-creator, so he should have gotten into the offense and gotten somebody else the ball quicker.  KU knew he was probably going to shoot it, and sent 3 people after him.  Somebody else would have been open, Curry just needed to look / find him.  Sad ending to a great game.
