I made this up last night because I was (a) bored, (b) needed procrastination time from law school work, and (c) I fucking hate, loathe, and otherwise despise Minnesota and thoroughly enjoy open mockery of their pain, misery, and general lack of anything resembling competence in football. That’s just great. And yeah, law school sucks. Believe it or not I went to LS at Minnesota after doing my undergrad at Iowa, but I’ve always found Gopher football easier to mock and ridicule than actually cheer for. This was largely due to the Glen Mason factor, and Brewster seems to be keeping up the tradition of excellence quite nicely.
Jim Wacker, rest his soul, who was coach when I was in school, was at least a great guy albeit a terrible defensive coach. 49-45 games against the likes of Purdue and Northwestern were darn entertaining if nothing else.
That was a darn fun way to end the season.
