"How many times did I propose to my wife before she finally said yes?" O'Keefe said. "Three."

But wait, theres more

No wonder Ferentz wouldn’t let him talk to the media. Here are some other gold statements:

“I’m doing the best job I can. I’m really just a pretty normal guy.”
“And I learned to love my players from my college coach”
“Ken wasn’t a great player” (former coach on KOK)
“Dad, it’s a good thing it wasn’t one of our good players…” (former coaches son on KOK getting injured in game)
“Been to Russia five times… and loved every minute of it”

So...

KOK tried something, it didn’t work. So he tried it again, and it still didn’t work. So he tried the same thing AGAIN. Now I know where he gets his offensive play-calling strategy from.

Live and don’t learn, the KOK story.

I ate the blue ones ... they taste like burning.

I found more. This just keeps getting better.

“I’m not handy around the house… about all I can do… is mow the yard and paint a wall”

What he would do if not coaching: “I’d probably coach a little league baseball team”

Oh and he admits to not adapting within a game: “By the time they arrive at the office Thursday [before the game], most plays are set”

This is worse than the Katie Couric and Palin interviews

Anyone who says these things should not be paid over 200K a year. It’s that simple.

Reading this interview

hurt my brain. I understand why KF doen’t let him talk to reporters on a weekly basis.
If we weren’t so close to the situation, this would be hillarious.
