Around SBN: Explaining Jeremy Lin's Early, Surprising Success

Andy Brodell is still an IGWWR...

...except now it stands for Injured Gravely White Wide Receiver.

(yeah, the grammar sucks. deal with it.)

Actual photographic evidence of the injury, likely the result of planted C-4 explosives.

Brodell is out for the remainder of the year, according to Captain Kirk's presser. While the most inexplicable part of Brodell's game this year wasn't his greatness, he was still the most experienced wide receiver on the team.

The Hawkeyes will be starting Colin Sandeman and James Cleveland on Saturday. Cleveland and Sandeman are physically talented but very young and inexperienced. In other words, unless the Hoosiers are starting two Weebles at cornerback, this may be cause for concern.

The leagacy will live on

Sandeman will be whiter and more inexplicably great than Brodell ever was. That's what I keep telling myself, anyway.

in that case

Since it's a dream, can you throw in an offensive line that can block? We haven't had one in 3 years.
That'd be swell.

Leave your dreamps out of this

That's the last time you subject us to your masochistic fantasies.

Fantasy? Hardly.

It was by no means a good dream, believe me.  I awoke in a cold sweat, a scream of horror ready to burst from my lips.  Then I gave a nervous laugh as I lay my head back upon the pillow because it was only a dream.  I mean, it had to have been, right?  I mean, come on!  We couldn't possibly actually get beat by Indi-

Fuck.

also...

It should be noted that I didn't actually see this game in the dream, I merely saw the box score after the fact.

That being said, I wholeheartedly apologize for sharing a dream story, which is arguably the worst, most boring, nonsensical and pointless thing one could subject another to.

We are all dumber for hearing your dream story

I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
