What is your favorite Iowa State memory?
To get the diaries rolling, I thought I'd share my favorite memory of a beat down versus Iowa State.
Mine dates back to the beginning of Iowa's dominance over Iowa State. 1983 was the first of 15 straight wins over Iowa State. It was also the first of many games where Iowa put up 50 or more point against the Cyclones. The bookend game in that run, I think it was 1997, was one where Tavian Banks went all crazy legs and ran for something like 200+ yards.
On a related note, is the Cyclones stadium still right next to a cornfield? I haven't been to Ames in forever, but I seem to remember the stadium sitting right next to a farm on the outskirts of town.

Favorite ISU beatdown
Last time I was in Ames, it was not next to a cornfield anymore, and that was, bare minimum, four years ago. I think my favorite Hawk win over the Clowns was the one that ended their win streak. I'll never forget Gallery running over to their sideline and grabbing the trophy back and holding it over his head at Jack Trice.
My favorite memory
I think it might have been in '00 when I was flipping off the Iowa student section after JJ Moses took the opening play 58 yards for a touchdown. They had to resort to throwing pretzels covered in cheese (and a half full water bottle that hit the girl in front of us) but it was worth it.
Although laughing at the Iowa fans behind me as Seneca Wallace led the comeback for the 5th in a row was a lot of fun as well.
